Just finished chatting with my wife on Messenger and she was lamenting
how the fast food joints in Bartlesville Ok, that promise to prepare
your pizza as you want it wouldn't do her a pepperoni pizza with pickles
and olives, she even explained that she is 4 months pregnant and said
she would be willing to pay extra just so that they would walk to the
salad bar and throw some pickles on for her - the answer she got from
all the places she phoned in an hour was "We don't do that."
Now I know when she was pregnant with Rosemary there were the odd times
when her taste went to the strange end of food combinations - don't ask
about the fish - but it got me to thinking what other combinations a
Pizza company wouldn't do despite having all the ingredients to hand?
I know the pickles on a pizza reminds me of a scene from a book or film
where the woman cheerfully spends her time phoning around pizza joints
to ask for a certain set of toppings that includes one that no-one will
do just so's she can have a yell at them - think it might be a Douglas
Adams book maybe LDTToTS but I can't recall and all my books are packed
ready for shipping.

Kinda; in Long Dark Teatime, one of the characters is an
American in London in the 1980s. She firmly believes that the
whole point of pizza is that it gets taken to your door, and
is deeply frustrated that the UK disagrees. So she regularly
phones up pizza parlours and orders "pizza with extra pizza,
essentially", and then, just as they're about to ask when
she'll be collecting it, asks them to deliver. When they tell
her they don't do that, she goes into a rant, as you say.
These days, British pizzarias *do* deliver. Whether this is
thanks to Kate's influence is unknown.

My pizza guy won't do a pizza spinaci if there isn't any fresh spinach
to be had. Frozen spinach on his pizzas? Heresy! I like that.

Weird, it doesn't even sound that bad. I mean, this is the
pizza definition of peperoni, right? Spicy sausage? Meat
with pickles is common, and spicy sausage with olives too...

Bartlesville, Oklahoma? That's dangerously close to Tulsa and me.
